Fall Decor, Birthdays & Lunar Eclipse 2015

Happy Monday friends!  We had a relax but, eventful weekend.  Saturday consisted of waiting around for Joseph while he got car maintenance things and car parts stuff...lol

Two Auto-parts stores later...
(Chris and I managed to take a car selfie while waiting on Joseph lol)
We ended up at ROSS for some Fall decor browsing.  I tell ya', I can't remember the last time I set foot at a ROSS.  I forgot how cheap and cute their home stuff is.  We picked up a couple of summer candles that were on a massive sale, as well as a lovely Yankee candle for Fall.  We scored big on these couch pillows too! I think we ended up paying $12 for both of them.
I also found Fall table mats which, in my opinion, was the very last touch needed to finish off our table.  I swear I love Fall decor, it really gets me in the mood for cooler weather and of course the holidays...
After running errands, we stopped by our favorite Greek Restaurant for a quick lunch.  I had a chicken gyro salad which was delightful as per always.
Right, so Sunday was Joseph's birthday.  We woke up early to hit the early Mass service which was followed by a fancy brunch as per Joseph's request.  Joseph wanted a day of relaxation at home which consisted of a long nap, necessary after all the food we ate and of course FOOTBALL!

Since we had a pretty indulgent weekend, a regular size cake was out of the question.  We opted for a birthday cupcake instead!
I got him a carrot-cream cheese cupcake and it was greatly enjoyed.
So cute!  We finished up the night by watching the Lunar Eclipse by the fireplace with a cup of pumpkin tea latte at hand...
Here's my eclipse photo attempt #1,000... lol
Did you get a chance to watch the eclipse? How was your weekend?

  3. Ross is so the place to go for home decor stuff! It seems you had a really great weekend! I haven't even thought bout decorating for Fall (which I usually do early haha) because of how busy I've been. I think I'll need to get on that haha.
