Swanson Peak Performance Pre-workout Formula

How are you?  Hope all is well! Guess what??  I am exhausted... I got two hours of sleep last night!
Hubby has been out of town this week.  When hubby isn't home, I suffer from an intense case of: "I CAN'T SLEEP!"   I swear every night someone has been trying to break-in to my house, enter my security alarm code and tried to steal all of my quarters.  I have been getting about 4 hours of sleep at night.  This is bad guys, sleep is so, so important.   I promise that I am normally a very good sleeper.  Joseph, hurry back!!

When I am low in energy, my favorite way to get pumped up for a workout is by having my bulletproof coffee.  I posted a video on how I make it, you can watch it HERE ;o)  I typically have my bulletproof coffee with my breakfast and do my strength training workout mid-morning.

Funny, back when I got into strength training I thought I had to get all the supplements all the bodybuilders used in order to get results.  I have to admit that I fell into the trap of consuming those chemically enhanced supplements.  Today, I stay away from using crazy chemical enhanced pre-workout formulas that are filled with artificial sweeteners.
Jenna from Swanson Vitamins (read all about Swanson's here) contacted me letting me know about their new line of supplements called Swanson Peak Performance.  They have all sorts of fun things from pre-workouts supplements to Non-GMO good quality whey protein powders.

I am sensitive to whey protein, so I immediately ran to their site to read the ingredient list on their pre-workout formula.  I am a big fan of Swanson Vitamins and the integrity they have in keeping their product creations natural, and I had a feeling the pre-workout would be free of all those crazy ingredients as well.  After a few hours of browsing their site, I decided to check out their pre-workout formula.

I am happy to report that Swanson Peak Performance Pre-Workout Formula is sweetened with stevia and contains all the pre-workout essential ingredients.  I should also mention, that unlike other pre-workouts, the SPP Pre-Workout Formula contains calories.
These are real ingredients; nothing artificially enhanced here!
Check out the label below...
How I used it: The first time I tried SPP-Preworkout I followed the directions on the label.  I found that a full scoop was a bit too strong for me.   I now enjoy half of a scoop in 8oz of water, this amount seems to work perfectly for me.  The packaging also states that you should wait 30 minutes for it to take effect and, that is exactly what I did.

Smell & Taste: Swanson Peak Performance Pre-Workout has a citrus smell and it taste like a salty lemonade.  I have to say, SPP Pre-workout is not as sweet as other pre-workouts I have tried in the past, but I found the salty taste enjoyable.

Did it work:   To be honest, all my pre-workouts experiences in the past have been quite scary.  Chemical enhanced pre-workout formulas have always given me really fast heart palpitations, headaches, and a strange shaky feeling all over my body which would last all day.  I did not experience that at all with SPP Pre-workout formula!

SPP Pre-Workout gives those finger tingling feelings, as most pre-workout supplements do. However, it is a temporary feeling and does not last all day.  I also notice an increase in energy and was much less sore from my intense workouts the next day.

I highly recommend Swanson Peak Performance as a replacement for anyone who is currently using a chemically enhanced pre-workout supplement.  Make the switch! You'll get all the benefits from a pre-workout and a peace of mind because you can trust the ingredient list.

    1. Yes, it is a fairly new thing... But, for those who already use it, a all natural one is a good one to switch to!

    1. It is easy to get used to a pre-workout, I recommend this one because of the ingredient list... it is also on sale for $19.99 which is a lot cheaper than the chemical enhanced ones
