Swanson Vitamins Haul!

We are officially done with all of our Christmas shopping this year.  As I mentioned on my last video, we will be traveling this year for the holiday season, we pretty much spent our entire weekend wrapping and shipping presents.  We are attempting a stress free holiday vacation...  Our goal is to enjoy the holidays with family, without worrying about any last minute gifts.

BTW!  If you have not seeing my last video, watch it below.  I would love for you to subscribe to my channel HERE for videos every Friday.
On to my online haul...

My favorite way to get the best value for my money when it comes to health supplements is by shopping online.  I find that items such as protein powders, vitamins and some of my "green" cleaning products are a bit overpriced at my local health food stores.

One of my "go-to" places to shop for supplements is Swanson Vitamins.  I have a blog post where I talk more abut the company HERE, if you want to read more about them.

Here is what I hauled from Swanson's.
From left to right:
Meyers Clean Day Dish Soap & Hand Soap in Basil:  I love Meyers' products.  I feel that washing your dishes with non chemical dish soaps is just as important as the healthy foods you put on your plates.  I love the basil scent and would highly recommend the brand.  The dish soap retails for $3.59 and the hand soap retails for $3.66.

Jarrow Brown Rice Protein Vanilla 17.8 oz: This is one of my favorite plant based protein powders.  I love getting concentrates rather than the traditional sweetened protein powders.  This is the protein powder I use for my baking and smoothie recipes.  This retails for $11.87 on the website.

Ultra Acai Liquid 32 oz:  This is a "new to me" product that I have been eying for a while now.  Acai is a super food that is getting a lot of rave in the health and fitness world.  I bought this concentrate primarily to add to my smoothies and soda waters.  This retails for $5.19 on the website.

Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder 1.76 oz: This is my favorite matcha tea.  I get it every time I shop from their site.  This was on sale for $7.19.

Organics Rooibos Red Tea 20 bags: I have never tried red tea and this particular one was on sale for $2.39, I though it was the perfect time to give it the world.  I have already tried it and I like it.

If you are curious my total for this purchase was $34.88.  Swanson Vitamins often offers great deals on shipping and items on sale on top of their already discounted prices.  For this particular day they were offering 0.99 cent shipping for purchases over $25.00.

If you have not tried the online route when shopping for supplements, I highly suggest you check out Swanson Vitamins.

Question: How about you, are you a last minute shopper, or an early shopper?

Hope you found this helpful!

  2. I am totally a last minute shopper... I have far too many people to still buy for considering Christmas is next week and I have to mail some of them off...

  3. How do you use the protein powder in baking? Is it just an added ingredient?

  4. Green cleaning improves air quality. The improvement is so drastic, in fact, that many companies have noticed a reduction in employee sick time usage.
