St. Patty's Day Weekend, Shopping, Chest & Tricep Workout

Happy St. Patty's Day!  I hope this blog post finds you well.  Today started out with a busy but festive morning.  I made my son a green egg salad over toasts and a green lemonade for breakfast in honor of St. Patrick's Day.

Very appropriate meal if you ask me... ;o)

My morning has consisted of waiting on construction workers, school work and scheduling an orthodontics appointment for my son later in the day.

I am celebrating St. Patty's Day with a bit of cardio and leg workout.  We technically celebrated it on Saturday when we attended the Colorado Springs St. Patrick's Parade. It was a cold windy day, but we enjoyed the parade.

Shortly after the parade, we got our Costco and Whole Foods Market grocery shopping done.  I managed to score 3$ off on Vega Berry 10 oz pouch protein powder at Whole Foods.
This purchase was a bit out of my comfort zone because when selecting a protein powder I tend to gravitate towards concentrates, vanilla or chocolate flavors. I am excited to give this one a try and will keep you posted on the taste.

To continue our St. Patty's Day weekend celebration, we headed home for some healthy snacking, NetFlix shows/movies, and drinks with the hubby.  I know, crazy night!  We are total homebodies, and when hubby is home, he usually wants to kick back and relax which I do not mind at all.
Consequently, we ended up going to bed at 4:00 am  (Jericho's fault)  Needless to say, Sunday was a lazy day for everyone in our household.

I also took care of this week's workout plan this morning.

Here's my workout plan for tomorrow...
I have another busy day tomorrow and I wanted to plan my workout accordingly.  I estimate this workout to take approximately 30-40 minutes, we'll see ;o).

Do you celebrate St. Patty's Day?  What are your plans for today?
