Leaner: Meatball Marinara

Hi. I have another recipe for you today!  WOW that's two in a row! We tend to have these for dinner once a week.  I can not believe I have not share them on here before.  My meatballs are Joseph's (hubby)  favorite meal of the week.

These would be great to have over spaghetti squash, spiralized zucchini or, as a tasty appetizer.
Super duper simple, but very tasty.

I hope you give this recipe a try.

1 lbs. of lean ground beef
1/2 of a large onion grated (with a cheese grater)
1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. of sea salt
1 tsp. of oregano
1 tsp. of granulated garlic
1 tbsp. of spaghetti seasoning
1 cup of your favorite marinara sauce (no sugar added)

aluminum foil
cooking spray
baking tray

Preheat your oven at 375 degrees.  Spray your baking tray with cooking spray.  Use a cheese grater to create a puree with your onion.  If you grate your onion, your mixture will be moist, but still hold its shape if rolled into meatballs.  In a large bowl, combine the beef, onion, garlic and the rest of the seasoning. I like using my hands for this.
Shape your meatballs, I like measuring 1oz size meatballs to portion control purposes.  Place your meatballs in your sprayed tray and bake for 20 minutes.  After 20 minutes, flip the meatballs and add 1-2 tbsp of tomato sauce over each meatball.  Cover your tray with aluminum foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
Once the meatballs are done cooking, remove them from your oven and let them rest for 5-10 minutes prior to removing the foil.

Serve and enjoy!

Today's vlog!
Hope you had a good day!
