Fall Inspired: Protein Pumpkin Smoothie

Happy Monday!  Ok, so I know Fall weather has arrived and we all love a warm breakfast on colder days.  However, once I get that fire place going and I am in need of a quick protein full meal after a sweaty session, I have to admit that I tend to go for quick smoothie for my post workout meal anytime of the year.  Now, my Tabata class and weights are scheduled for a bit later today but, I did need something quick and "to-go" for breakfast this morning.  ;o)

Anyway, it was deliciousness in a cup and I just wanted to share it with you.

Ingredients:
1 cup of pumpkin puree (make sure is 100 % pumpkin)
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I used MRM egg whites protein)
3 tbsp. of ground flaxseeds
1 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of baby spinach (optional)
1 cup of ice
1/4 t. of ground cloves
1/4 t. of ground nutmeg
1/2 t. of ground cinamon
1 t. of vanilla extract 
8 drops of vanilla liquid stevia (Truvia or any natural sweetener to taste or to fit your macros)
Directions:
Throw it all in a blender and blend until well combined.  
Serve, share (if you want) and enjoy!

Macros (excluding the "optional")- 310 kcals.  Fat: 11g; Carbs: 28g; Protein: 33g.
