OK, how many times do we buy things at the grocery store just because they look cool, then try them, read the ingredients on the label and find out that you have all of those ingredients at home... The drink was pretty tasty however, it was also $3 for this 16oz bottle at my grocery store (well, in Fairbanks.)
So when I got home that night I decided to give it the world and let me just tell you...
it turned out identical!

I am a sucker for Bragg's overall integrity with their products, and feel a bit guilty for recreating this drink, but I had the ingredients at home, so why not, right?...
Ingredients:
3 tbsp. of Bragg's ACV
3 tbsp. of Bragg's ACV
3 Truvia packets (use organic stevia if you can)
3/4 of a 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinamon
a third of a 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger (use fresh if you can)
12 oz. of cold water
a 16 oz. bottle or mason jar
a 16 oz. bottle or mason jar
Directions:
Add all of your ingredients in to a 16 oz glass bottle or mason jar. Give it a shake and refrigerate. If you are remaking this drink, do not forget to recycle that bottle!
I love making energy shots with ACV, it really does the trick for me. This is a great sub for those sugary energy drinks.
I hope you give this a try.

DeleteSounds interesting! I've used ACV in some recipes but never really paid much attention to brands or types. I've never tried it alone either and I know lots of people do, and have been talking about it lots lately!
ReplyDeleteWhen I buy ACV I don't pay attention to brands either... I make sure that it is Unfiltered and raw so I get the most benefits from it ... The one from Braggs happens to have everything I need... I actually love a lot of their products too...

ReplyDeleteCan you use honey rather than sugar substitutes? Has anyone tried this?
ReplyDeleteIs this for drinking by the glass full or for drinking a couple of tablespoons?
ReplyDeleteDo you have a recipe for the Apple - Cinnamon variety??
