Nana-Carob Oatmeal Protein "Cookies"

The essentials you'll need...

To make these!!!
 Nana-Carob Oatmeal Protein Cookies
 
Ingredients:
1 cup of rolled oats (old fashion works too)
2 1/2 ripe bananas (mashed)
1/4 t. of baking powder
1 tbsp. of u. carob powder
1 tbsp. of water or u.almond milk
1 scoop of your favorite protein powder (I used PerfectFit)
1/4 t. of salt
a pinch of nutmeg
a cookie tray
parchment paper


Directions:
Preheat your oven at 350 degrees.  In a bowl mash your bananas with a fork.  Add the rest of your ingredients to your bananas and continue to mix with a fork until well combined.  Place parchment paper on a cookie tray.  Use a tablespoon to measure out your cookies to ensure they cook evenly and start assembling them on your tray. You should end up with about 15 cookies.  Bake for 15-20 minutes depending on your oven.  Let the cookies cool for about 15 minutes.

Easy and basic recipe!  Feel free to substitute carob powder for unsweetened cocoa powder or add in dark chocolate chips, raisins, or any (no sugar added) dry fruit you have at hand to spice it up a bit.  
Nutritional value (per cookie:) 44 calories/9.2 g. carbs/ 0 g. fat / 2 g.  protein
