Super 300kcal Power Oatmeal

OM goodness!  This was solely inspired by my crazy cravings for oatmeal this morning.  With the intense workouts I have been doing lately (mainly Insanity, running and lifting)  I have been on a carb craving craze.  Anyway, this oatmeal is totally Whole-Foods No Crap Challenge approved, full of nutrients and some key super-foods.  If you love wheat grass and spirulina in your smoothies you will enjoy this!

300Kcal Power Oatmeal
 Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Unsweetened Almond Chocolate Milk (22.5 kcal)
1 1/4 cup of cold brewed Yogi Chai Tea (0 kcal)
1/4 t. of sea salt (free)
a pinch of cinnamon (free)
2 Truvia Packets (0 kcal)
8 liquid vanilla Stevia (0 kcal)
1/2 cup of Rolled Oats (150 kcal, 6g of protein)
1 tbsp. of Flaxseeds (30kcal)
1 scoop of PerfectFit Protein (70 kcal, 15g protein)
1/2 tbsp. of wheat grass (12.5 kcal, 2.5g protein)
1/2 tbsp. of spirulina (13 kcal, 2.5 g protein)

Directions:
In a small sauce pan add in the milk, tea, sea salt, cinnamon, truvia and liquid stevia.  Turn your burner to medium heat and bring to a boil.  Add in your rolled oats and let them cook for about 5-7 minutes stirring occasionally.  The consistency will be a bit "liquidy" but that's ok.  After the oats are cooked, lower the temperature to low.  Add in the rest of your ingredients stirring as you add them.  If you think the consistency of your oats is too thick, feel free to add more tea, milk or water.  Serve with a side fruit or nuts.

Not only is this oatmeal delicious and super low in calorie, but it also contains a little over 28 grams of plant protein.
I hope you give this recipe a try...
Enjoy!
Have a happy, healthy night!
