Some of WIA this weekend & Full Circle Order

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  Here's some of what I ate this weekend...

Don't have much to show for Saturday!  We hosted a baby welcoming for my friend Karla and baby Grayson.  I was running around taking pictures and such, ended up just grabbing bites from the food table (all day.)  I do know one thing for sure...I had one of these cuties!

A delicious gluten free chocolate cupcake, topped with a white chocolate icing...Dreamy! One of my duties was to get the cake for the welcoming. I was so glad to have been referred to Michele from Dream Creations Alaska.  She did such an amazing job and was nice enough to include these adorable gluten free cupcakes for me!  Everyone loved the cake!

Sunday!

Chobani for 5 am b-fast to go!

Tuna Salad for lunch!

OOOH!  Here's my Full Circle Farm Order for next week

When we lived in Orlando FL, we got all of our produce for the week from the Winter Garden Farmers Market.  Now that we live in AK I purchase my organic produce online through a food coop/farm.

Where do you get your produce from?  Do you prefer to buy organic or non organic produce?

  1. I have not had apricots in forever. Can never find them near here. Yummy. Enjoy them for me.

    1. Love it! I tend to go for plain chobani, but I saw this pomegranate one for the 1st time at my store yesterday, and had to try it! Not bad! As for the salad, I just threw in; fresh broccoli, broccoli slaw, a pickle, diced red onion, Siracha (just because I add it to everything,) over a couple of cups of fresh green leaves mix...in the tuna mixture: one tbs of plain chobani, garlic powder, 1tbs of apple cider vinegar, salt and pepper...;o) I enjoy tuna raw, so it tasted delicious to me! ;o)

  3. I'm a Trader Joe's or supermarket person myself, but one of the area grocers is great about stocking local and regional produce. I'd love to say I shop organic all the time but that's just not financially feasible in all instances, so I figure regional is best. I love Chobani - mango's a big fav here!

    1. Hi Jennifer! Chobani came out with a mango one?? Can't wait to try that one! Sure, that's one thing I miss about having a farmer's market around; low prices (you cut the middle man and fuel cost,) and supporting local growers. Do you have a farmers market in your area? I hear about this Trader Joe's all the time; is it like a WholeFoods, essentially?
