This is the last week of the Insanity Upper Weight Training workout for me. I got up at 6 am today ready to tackle it. I have decided to start P90X next week. I will post my workouts and updates on how that goes. Last time I attempted P90X it was a fail! I was also 30lbs overweight an unmotivated, I am really looking forward to giving it a try again.
For my breakfast I had another green smoothie. To spice things up a bit I added mint and mushrooms. YES, mushrooms! They were tasteless in the smoothie and gave it a thicker than normal consistency but, equally delicious!
For my lunch I had an "everything but the kitchen sink" salad: left-over barley salad, zucchini, tomatoes, chicken, turkey, jalapenos and a pickle. No dressing.
The turkey was a last minute thought, after realizing I did not have enough chicken left. ;o)
It starting to feel a lot like Christmas!!! In the mail today I received my insanity completion shirt (after 2 rounds) and my sweat pink ambassador package. Both of these shirts mean the world to me.
I'm so happy and flattered to have been selected to be a part of such a fabulous group of women.

4th of July tomorrow!!! I have to run to the grocery store and stock up for a BBQ tomorrow. How are you celebrating Independence Day tomorrow?
