Funny Pepper, Easy Saturday & Sugar Free 45 kcal Choco Pops

Happy Saturday!  Check out this pepper I got from my FullCircleFarm box this week.  Isn't it cute!  Still sitting in my fridge, too much personality to eat.  Planning to add it to a fritatta tomorrow.

I'm so glad the weekend is finally here.  Our plans for today are to go for a hike, visit the Delta Farmer's Market, watch a little of the Triathlon going on in town today, grab some lunch in town, perhaps at the Buffalo Drive In.  We are also planning on grilling out for dinner and a movie later.

I plan to go do my morning & only workout (besides the hike) after this post: it is 7:30 am here.  I'm taking it easy today, planning on Insanity's Core Cardio & Balance and a little weight training.

My 3 yoga workouts this week were (my 1st day was Sunday:)

06/03/12 -The Long & Lean from the ToneitUp DVD
06/07/12 - AM Yoga by Element
06/08/12 - The Long & Lean from the ToneitUp DVD

I loved incorporating an extra day of yoga, it was SO necessary for me this week too, TRX was intense this week.  Besides, I always feel great after a good yoga stretch, don't you?  Tomorrow I am doing a group class yoga, really looking forward to that!

OOOOH! Yesterday we had these Choco Pops I made the other night to prepare us for the "hot" weather coming this weekend. They are only 45kcal each and no sugar added. I have been on a chocolate kick lately indulging on carob chips to get me through my cravings. These definitely hit the spot for me.

Here's what I used:

1 1/2 cup of Unsweetened chocolate almond milk
2 med size bananas
2 tbs of unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbs of chocolate PB2
1 t. of vanilla extract
10 drops of toffee liquid stevia
1 t. of cinnamon

I threw everything in my Omni and blended on med for 2 mins. Froze over night.

Here's my very exciting breakfast: cottage cheese, walnuts, cinnamon & stevia (again)

I love anything cold/frozen and sweet during the summer time. What is your favorite healthy summer treat?
